The Alumni Day

The Alumni Day was attended by 20 graduates of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees of the «UNESCO Chair for SD» anniversary years: 5 and 10 years from the date of graduation from the university. Welcome words were said by graduates of the department who continue to work at the university: deputy Dean for Research and Innovation Activities and International Relations of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, PhD doctor Rysmagambetova A.A. and senior teacher Erdesbay A.N. Graduates who work in the production sector also spoke: the chief agronomist for greenhouse farming at the Scientific and Technological Park of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Aydarkhanuly S., a forestry engineer, the Department of Reproduction Protection and Forest Restoration of the KSU Medeu Park Department of Ecology and Environment of the city Almaty Syrymov E.S. Most of the department’s graduates work in their chosen specialties as ecologists and occupational health and safety engineers in organizations such as «AAEngineering Group» LLP, «RECYCLE SERVICE» LLP, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and others. Graduates of the master’s program in the specialty «Ecology» (10 years) presented the UNESCO Chair for SD with a color printer and an indoor flower as a token of gratitude.
