Working meeting of ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-1 – Capacity building in the field of higher education “Land, Environment and Solid Waste Management in Education and Business in Central Asia (LESLIE)” project partners
On 15/02/2024, Maria-Sol.Dominguez-Parrado, Project Officer of the European Union, held a working meeting with members of the consortium for the ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-1 – Capacity building in the field of higher education “Land, Environment and Solid Waste Management in Education and Business in Central Asia (LESLIE)”.
The meeting was attended by 14 organizations from 3 EU countries (Spain, Italy, Cyprus) and 2 Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan).
The LESLIE project is aimed at developing new potential that will be used by higher education institutions (universities) in Central Asia in their upcoming educational programs in the field of sustainable land management.
Representatives of our University are teachers of the UNESCO Chair of Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, and the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
During the meeting, the main tasks of the project were considered, the main points for discussion at the first meeting of the project participants in Valencia were identified.
