The first working meeting of the Mega Grant Consortium members

The first working meeting of the Consortium members was held on the results of the 1st year of the Mega Grant implementation within the framework of the BR21882122 PОF “Sustainable development of natural, economic and socio-economic systems of the West Kazakhstan region in the context of green growth: comprehensive analysis, concept, forecast estimates and scenarios”

All the implementing organizations of this project participated in it: NJSC “Al-Farabi Kazakh National University”; JSC “Institute of Geography and Water Safety”; LLP “Institute of Hydrogeology and Geoecology named after U.M. Akhmedsafin”; LLP “Kazakh Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U.U. Uspanov”; LLP “Scientific and Production Center of Fisheries”; NJSC “Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yesenova”; NJSC “Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University”; RSE on the REM “Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction” of the  Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; RSE on the REM “Institute of Economics” of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The moderator of this meeting was a Member of the Board – Vice-rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University – Aitzhanova Zh.N., and the scientific director of the Mega Grant, PhD, Prof. Askarova M.A., and the heads of the subprograms of the project, outlining the tasks for the first stage.

In conclusion, Aliya Sagyndykovna Aktymbaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, wished all participants timely fulfillment of tasks according to the calendar plan.
