Ecology for everyone!

On May 16, 2023, the UNESCO chair for Sustainable Development, together with the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, held an international meeting to discuss the methodology for creating youth projects and participate in an interactive session on creating projects in the field of ecology and sustainable development of Russia and Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the teaching staff, students, undergraduates. The meeting was held in a hybrid format. Project Manager of the International Children’s and Youth Award “Ecology for everyone ” Naumenko A.I. she familiarized the audience with the rules and features of the award presentation. Then there was a report by Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the HSE Institute of Ecology, Head of the HSE Eco-School, expert of NP Technological Platform “Technologies of Ecological Development” Porotnikova N.A. on the prospects of cooperation with al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the implementation of youth environmental projects. At the end of the meeting, during a coffee break, the participants of the event exchanged their impressions and suggestions on the issues raised, noting that there are promising areas of cooperation in the field of sustainable development, ecology and eco-tourism.
