CONFERENCE ON SCIENTIFIC FREEDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY
On May 9, 2023, a Conference on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility, organized jointly with the UNESCO International Scientific Council, was held in the IV Hall of the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (France).
The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of the importance of scientific freedom and responsible research for solving global problems.
The event was opened by Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director General for Social Sciences and Humanities, and Peter Gluckman, President of ISC, as well as well-known world experts.
The work of the conference was conducted in 2 sections, devoted respectively to explaining concepts and strengthening implementation, as well as question and answer segments for more effective interaction with the audience.
Teachers of the UNESCO chair in Sustainable Development took part in the conference in an online format.
