Another medal in the treasury of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
Activists of the Nevada-Semey youth organization of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the International Anti-Nuclear Movement “Nevada-Semey” celebrated the day of the last explosion on Kazakh soil on October 19. During the round table, questions were considered about the explosions of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, the results of the organization of the Nevada-Semey movement achieved over 30 years.
The round table was attended by the leader of the international anti-nuclear movement “Nevada-Semey” Olzhas Omarovich, veterans and activists of the anti-nuclear movement, representatives of youth organizations.
As a result of the event, veterans and activists of the international anti-nuclear movement “Nevada-Semey” were awarded the 30th anniversary medal. Among the youth, Gulzhanat Bakytovna Tanabekova, the head of the Nevada-Semey youth organization of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was awarded the 30th anniversary medal. By the way, Gulzhanat Bakytovna has been engaged in public work since 2016 to promote the initiatives of the International Anti-Nuclear Movement “Nevada-Semey” in the fight against nuclear weapons.
