THIRD YEAR PhD STUDENT AMUTOVA FARIDA TAKES 3 PLACE FOR “BEST ORAL REPORT” AT THE INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF THE SOCIETY ON ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY AND CHEMISTRY (SETAC EUROPE – 2021)

THIRD YEAR PhD STUDENT AMUTOVA FARIDA TAKES 3 PLACE FOR “BEST ORAL REPORT” AT THE INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF THE SOCIETY ON ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY AND CHEMISTRY (SETAC EUROPE – 2021)

Third year PhD student Farida Amutova, studying in the frame of double degree program «Abai-Verne» between UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development («Ecology») of al-Farabi Kazakh national university and Doctoral school of Natural Resource Sciences and Engineering (Agronomic sciences) of University of Lorraine (France), presented an oral report on the topic “Assessment and management of transfer of persistent organic pollutants from soil to outdoor reared animals” at the international meeting of the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC EUROPE) on May 3, 2021.

SETAC is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional organization comprised of more than 5,300 individuals and institutions in 85 countries dedicated to the study, analysis and solution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, research and development, and environmental education.

As a result of participation in the competition of young scientists organized within the framework of SETAC EUROPE 2021, Amutova Farida took 3rd place for the “best oral presentation”.
