WORLD LABOR DAY

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an online Round table was held on the topic: “World Day for Occupational Safety and Health”, timed to coincide with the World Day of Occupational Safety, organized by 1st year Master Students on the specialty “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” and Head Kozhakhan A.K. from UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development.

The event was attended by invited guests from foreign countries: Russia, France, Cote d’Ivoire, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the USA, as well as teachers, undergraduates and students of the specialty.

The participants and guests of the round table noted the importance of this event for students and undergraduates who have chosen the profession of ensuring the safety of people in the workplace. Foreign guests dwelled on topical issues, features, labor protection procedures at production facilities, security legislation in their countries.

At the event, new information technologies were used with the help of a QR code, at the entrance to the site in the stands you can find the necessary information on labor protection.

At the end of the event, undergraduates played an online game at quizz.com. Students who answered questions in their specialty will be awarded with certificates.
