In the market of Kazakhstan, many employers are interested in employment of graduates of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Employers actively work with students and undergraduates, are ready to train them for work in their research institute, accept them for internships and permanent work.

So, for example, on December 22, 2020, under the leadership of the Deputy General Director Tukenova Z.A., 2nd year Master Students of the specialty in the educational program in the specialty “7M05209 – Geoecology and environmental management” were invited to the Kazakh Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U.U.Uspanov, where a meeting with the staff of the institution was organized. At the end of the meeting, scientists answered numerous questions from undergraduates; they were interested in questions related to industrial and pre-diploma practices, minimum wages, available vacancies, career prospects.

The meeting with undergraduates was held in a friendly atmosphere. Such meetings are very significant, as they allow students and undergraduates to provide information about the proposals of potential employers both in terms of the content of the work and in terms of its conditions, as well as directly learn about the features of their future profession and give them confidence in solving the problem of future employment and self-realization.
